Business consultant on Long Island: Consultants who also build the fix

Before anything gets built, we want to see how your business actually runs: how a job goes from the first call to money in the bank. Then, instead of just handing you a list, we can build what's on it.

Good for
Owners who know something's off but can't say what.
You get
A written list of what we'd change, in order, with what each would cost.
Where
At your business, or by phone and video.
What it costs
$175 an hour, from a written estimate with a cap

What we look at: every part of your business

What you get

A written list of what we'd change, in order, with what each would cost. Some of it you can do yourself, and we'll tell you which. If something isn't worth doing, we'll tell you that too.

What we don't do

Taxes, legal advice and loans. We're not accountants or tax preparers. We keep the books clean so your accountant has less to fix. For a business plan, the free Small Business Development Centers and SCORE are good. They help you plan; we build it and wire it up.

What it costs

$175 an hour

One rate for all of it.

Estimate
Before any project, you get a written estimate with a not-to-exceed cap. You pay for the hours we actually work, never more than the cap.
If the job changes
If the job changes, we write a new estimate before doing more.
First meeting at your business
An on-site consultation is billed by the hour. If we go ahead, that time comes off the job.
First call by phone or video
Tell us on the form if a phone or video call is enough to start. We'll look at what you sent and tell you before we talk whether there's any charge.
A closer look
If we need a closer look at how the business runs, that's billed by the hour too, like everything else.
Travel
On-site travel: the first 30 minutes each way are on us, then $40 per half hour.
Contract
No long-term contract or retainer. You sign each written estimate before we start.

Something broken instead? A computer, the Wi-Fi, a printer, email that stopped working: that's our sister business. Promora is for designing, building and automating. Go to Long Island Home Tech Help →

Tell us what's going on.

A few lines about your business and what's eating your time is enough to start. Every request is read by a person, and if something isn't worth doing, we'll tell you.
